I'm a Postdoctoral Researcher in the TAUCHI Research Center at Tampere University. I was a Visiting Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the SPIN Research Group at the University of British Columbia in 2015. I received my MSc in Computer Science (2007) and PhD in Interactive Technology (2014) from the University of Tampere.

My PhD thesis focused on ways to present information to mobile device users via touch (pdf icon download pdf). My research interests include human-computer interaction, haptics, interpersonal touch communication, gaze tracking, applications for the visually impaired, olfaction, and virtual reality.
